    Five years on and we still remember Boxing Day 2004 with shock. On that   disastrous day, the Asian Tsunami hit the Sri Lankan coast and in that region alone, 30,000 people lost their lives and thousands of families had their homes and livelihoods destroyed.

  3. Rotorua Trust Takes a Stake in Dick Hubbard’s Cereal Business

    The Rotorua Energy Charitable Trust (Rotorua Trust) has taken a 35.6% stake in the privately owned cereal business, Hubbard Foods for an undisclosed sum. 
    Rotorua Trust Chairman Grahame Hall said “the investment in Hubbards fits perfectly with the trust investment strategy in the area of private equity.”

  5. Vomo Unscathed After Cyclone Mick Passes Through Fiji

    VOMO has survived Cyclone Mick, the first cyclone of the season, suffering little damage. The Category 2 storm brought winds up to 150 km per hour and lashed the island with rain however no structural damage was incurred and no staff or guests were injured.
