Assistant Accountant
Network PR, one of New Zealand’s leading public relations companies is looking for an Assistant Accountant to support the Group Accountant situated in Auckland CBD.
This role will be pivotal to the success of the Group Accountant delivering accurate and timely financial and management reporting.
The position would suit a candidate with a formal accounting qualification, however a good understanding of accounting principles and the ability to execute the following tasks with speed and accuracy are more important.
To be successful in this role your experience will ensure;
- Completion of accounts to Trial Balance.
- Daily bank reconciliations and cash flow management.
- Detailed balance sheet reconciliations.
- Completion of bi-monthly and monthly payroll though an ACE payroll system and completing the subsequent payroll journals.
- Reconciliation of GST, FBT and PAYE and E filing of returns.
- Supervision of Accounts Payable.
- Other tasks as required by the Group Accountant.
